Who We Are
This is the in-patient surgical unit. Admitted surgical patients will recover in this unit.
What We Do
There are a variety of tasks that need to be done to keep the Surgical Unit running smoothly.
Volunteers will assist medical staff as needed with a goal to comfort patients and their visitors in the Surgical Unit.
This could include:
- Tidying up patient rooms
- Restocking medical supplies
- Introducing yourself to patients and offering a few minutes of conversation
- Additional tasks that staff may request
