The hospital can be an overwhelming place to visit. Factor in emotional stress, physical trauma or language barriers and navigating the hospital can be a nightmare. Information desk wayfinders provide a warm welcome while calmly and accurately providing directional support.
What We Do
Information desk wayfinders are key to getting patients and visitors to their hospital destination. This volunteer goes the extra mile to deliver the patient or visitor to their destination in a calm and efficient manner. This volunteer is resourceful, often piecing together why the patient is here and where they need to go. There are also many occasions, when this volunteer delivers a smile in the form of a flower delivery.
